Clearly it is important to record works as an artist but the most interesting challenge is capturing the moment.
Most photos here are from Tana Toraja, I wanted to see a tonkonon under construction.
It is not that hard to find in Toraja.
You can find 400 year old tonkonon without much trouble,
Tonkonon embody caste, religion, spirituality, you dont have to pick up a book to understand, trust your senses. Warm family feelings that maybe we have already forgotten?
