Paul Trinidad – Statement

For the past five years I have committed to research and development of an in-country teaching program between Institute Seni Indonesia, ISI Denpasar and ALVA University of Western Australia.

The Program known as ISACFA (International Studio of Art and Culture) has gained national recognition in Indonesia with endorsements from the National Office of Education in Jakarta.

I have committed to develop the program to also include Tana Toraja in South Sulawesi.  The Rektor of UKI (University Kristen Indonesia) is interested in the research and possibilities of co-operation in the future.

I continue my own practice of art in the Ancient Rock Studio in Byford.

I have heavy commitments to the ISACFA developments at the moment but studio work is in the direction of another major exhibition – this time in Indonesia, scheduled for 2013.
