The Leonora Cemetery project began with a proposal to the Leonora Council in 2010.

The design brief, to compliment the surroundings and produce a unique work reflective of community desires.

A design that is reflective of indigenous, pastoralist, mining, the explorers and those involved with infrastructre.

Leonora Cemetery is an historic site and is home to the graves of many of those who died while working on the historic Sons of Gwalia Gold Mine.

This is not simply a design, it is a tribute.

Acacia Aneura commonly known as Mulga, is a key signifier of country.
